About Credit Hire

Credit hire is the provision of a courtesy vehicle after a non-fault road traffic accident. You will not be required to pay for the use of the Credit Hire Vehicle and the costs will be claimed back from the at-fault party's Insurance Company. The concept of credit hire has now been around for about 20 years and helps to minimise the disruption and inconvenience an accident can have on the innocent driver.

When renting a vehicle on credit hire from DH Hire Ltd, you will be asked to sign a Credit Hire Agreement that clearly lays out the terms and conditions of the hire.

Once you are provided with a dual control vehicle from DH Hire Ltd its your duty to mitigate your losses. So as soon as your vehicle repairs are complete or you've received a total loss cheque from your Insurance Company then its your duty to inform us so that we can arrange the collection of our dual control vehicle.
